Logging into cPanel Issue (FIX)

After working with cPanel & WHM for quite some time now i thought i’d go over a cPanel Issue that i had come across after registering with CloudFlare and installing the plugin for WordPress.

The issue with CloudFlare is that when you directly acess your cpanel on www.mysite.com/cpanel or www.mysite.com:2086 it sets itself into a loop, although it authenticates you it continously loops thus causing the problem of no access to your websites cPanel.

Below is a video i quickly recorded to show the issue;

Now after hours of speaking to my VPS host at HeartInternet (which on a side note) I would like to say thanks to for all their help with all of my queires. I visited my best friend who normally helps me out at a time like this Google.

I spent approximately a minute and a half and searching for cPanel Issue’s but then i figured it out it was CloudFlare that was causing the issue and instead of typing www.mysite.com/cpanel try visiting your site with “direct” e.g. www.direct.mysite.com/cpanel.

In this case it solved the issue, however i have 4 more sites running in my WHM and all connected to CloudFlare’s CDN yet none of them were effected with this strange issue

Hopefully i have helped anyone who has also got this issue and i would like to apologise for the typing the in the video, i was in a rush and very stressed.
